Gala Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Once I reserve and pay for my seat and/or table, then what?

A: Thank you! We look forward to seeing you at the event. After you register for the event, be sure to reserve your hotel room under the TCA room block. The link will be in your confirmation email. We'll email you closer to the event for your guests names if you bought a table.

Q:  I bought an individual seat. Where will I be seated?

A:  TCA has numerous tables where those with individual seats will be seated. 

Q: What is the attire?  

A: Formal. See what others have worn at the previous events. 

Q: What happens if I can't attend?

A: We ask that you find another individual to take your seat, or others to fill your table. TCA can assist if need be.

Q:  When and where will the event be held?

A:  The event will be held at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center located at 201 Waterfront Street in National Harbor, Maryland 20745. View their website for hotel information, available rooms, etc.

Q: Will I be given a name badge or wristband?

A: Name badges will be available at the registration desk prior to the reception. Upon arrival, visit this area first. The badge holder will be magnetic so it won't snag your formal wear.

Q: Oh no, what if I forget my tux and/or gown?

A: No worries, we've found the following below:

Q:  I've heard the TCA Policy Committee and Board of Directors Meetings will be held at the same time as this event? 

A:  Yes, the TCA Policy Committee and Board of Directors Meetings, as well as the Call on Washington, will coincide with the Gala. The dates of the events range from October 9-11, 2017. More information to come.
